The Legacy of La Paulée

Over the years, La Paulée has transcended its origins in Meursault to become a globally celebrated tradition, renowned for its unique combination of camaraderie, exceptional wines, and cultural heritage. What began as a modest harvest feast in Burgundy is now recognized as one of the most prestigious wine events in the world.

La Paulée’s rise to international fame can be attributed to its ability to capture the spirit of Burgundy—generosity, excellence, and a deep appreciation for wine. Today, it is celebrated in major cities such as New York, San Francisco, and Aspen, where wine lovers and connoisseurs come together to honor the region’s unparalleled winemaking legacy. These events, inspired by the original La Paulée de Meursault, bring together Burgundy’s finest producers, sommeliers, and enthusiasts, creating a community that transcends borders.

This global expansion owes much to the vision of individuals like Daniel Johnnes, who introduced La Paulée to the United States in 2000. His events have set new standards for wine celebrations, earning widespread acclaim from guests and critics alike. Legendary wines, world-class chefs, and a shared passion for Burgundy have cemented La Paulée’s reputation as a one-of-a-kind experience, described by wine critic Robert Parker as “a dinner/tasting of a lifetime.”

By launching La Paulée Copenhagen, we continue the remarkable tradition, bringing an exclusive taste of Burgundy’s global phenomenon to Denmark.

Vive La Bourgogne et Vive La Paulée!
